David Knighton  //  Scrum Master  //  Agile Coach  //  Creative Things  //  Epic SFW Shitposter

They’ll let anyone have a website these days...

If you’ve stumbled upon this vain attempt at digital relevancy by accident, I apologize. If you’re here on purpose, what the hell is wrong with you? Are you bored? Depressed? Certainly you can find better things to do with your time. This pixelated placeholder is proof that I exist, and that I am, indeed, what some would consider a professional. It is a digital CV of sorts, but mostly it’s one man shouting into the electronic void, “Hey! Look at me!”

I’m not especially serious, and I prefer to joke around, probably to deflect issues I’ve long since buried in my psyche. But in my opinion, I’m pretty good at my job, and this is the place where I like to share bits and pieces of knowledge I’ve collected along the way. If you’re still reading at this point I hope you’ll find something interesting.

About Me

I’m a Scrum Master and Agile Coach in the Cincinnati, Ohio area. For the past 9 years I’ve worked for the largest grocery retailer in the US. Currently I support a services team that is spread out across two continents and multiple time zones. Since we started working from home more than a year ago, I’ve become the reigning GIF shit-poster in MS Teams, and the person with the most Baby Yodas in his office. Outside the work I enjoy astronomy, collecting musical instruments I don’t know how to play, and making really awful crap out of wood.

Current Projects

Outside of work, I’ve got several things in various stages of completion.

N. Kentucky Astronomy Club

A new organization for amateur astronomers in the Northern Kentucky area. Website and membership options coming soon.

ScrumCar

My personal take on Scrum & Agile. Intended to be a resource for Scrum Masters. Website coming soon.

Knightlight Digital

My main “brand” so to speak, encompassing all of my various projects including digital art, photography, and code.
